DA hiked by 5%; to benefit 50 lakh govt employees

In an effort to bring cheer among the working class, the Cabinet on Wednesday approved a 5 per cent hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for central government employees and pensioners, Union minister Prakash Javadekar.
