The RBI watchers were left scrambling for their dictionaries to decipher the minutes of a monetary policy committee meeting. In the minutes, a MPC member said “estimates of economic growth have unfortunately been subject to a fair degree of floccinaucinihilipilification." The Oxford dictionary says the word is used to describe the action of estimating something as worthless.
