Lawyers agree on May 2020 extradition trial for Nirav Modi

Nirav appeared at Westminster magistrates’ court on Thursday via videolink from Wandsworth prison in London dressed in a black, grey and white pullover. He was clean-shaven, appeared relaxed and twiddled his thumbs. The court heard that counsel for both sides had agreed that his extradition trial could go ahead as a five-day trial from May 11, 2020 but it had not yet been listed in the court lists.
