Markets open in red as trade war scare looms again

30-share BSE Sensex opened at 38,348.39, down 40 points and extended its losses in early trade. At 9.26 am, the index was down 72.24 points at 38,317.58. The broader 50-share NSE Nifty shed 19 points to open at 11,570 and was testing the 11,550-levels in early trade.
