Nobel winners used field experiments to refine eco

Field experiments in the late 1990s and early 2000s by Abhijit Bannerjee, Esther Duflo, and Michael Kremer helped establish that subsidies helped increase use of preventative health care. Those studies helped shift the World Health Organisation and the United Nations to promote subsidized health care for the poor.
