Sensex surges 396 points to close at 38,990; Nifty at 11,573

Equity indices on Thursday ended in green with the benchmark BSE sensex rising over 350 points as hopes of US-China trade agreement brightened after US President Donald Trump said that a deal may happen soon. The 30-share BSE index ended 396.22 points or 1.03 per cent up at 38,989.74 . While, the broader NSE nifty ended 133.10 points or 1.22 per cent up at 11,573.30.
