
Domestic equity benchmark BSE sensex dropped over 400 points in afternoon trade on Thursday, dragged by heavy sell-off in banking, financial, metal, technology and pharma stocks, amidst unabated foreign fund outflow mixed global cues. The 30-share index was trading 411.37 points or 1.13 per cent lower at 36,152.51 at 1:50 pm. While, the broader NSE Nifty was trading 128.50 points or 1.19 per cent lower at 10,712.15.
