Sensex crashes over 450 points; Nifty below 10,750

Equity indices on Thursday finished in red with the benchmark BSE sensex plunging over 450 points amid by heavy sell-off in banking and metal stocks. Sensex cracked 470.41 points or 1.29 per cent to end at 36,093.47; while the broader NSE Nifty moved 135.85 points or 1.25 per cent lower to settle at 10,704.80.
