Cognizant appoints Ramkumar Ramamoorthy as CMD of India operations

IT major Cognizant has appointed Ramkumar Ramamoorthy as chairman and managing director of Cognizant India. The company has fallen back on the CTS old-timer with over two decades of experience to head the India operations at a time when the company is entangled in a series of legal issues in India with tax and other authorities and looks to get back on the growth trajectory.
