Tender trouble: Desi companies face 'unfair conditions'

The commerce and industry ministry has objected to the "restrictive and discriminatory tender conditions" that Indian companies are facing in the massive procurement by various Central govt agencies, and the matter is now being probed by the central vigilance commission. The move is hurting the generation of employment and income in the country, the ministry said.
