Sensex tanks over 300 points, Nifty closes below 11,350

Equity indices finished on a lower note on Monday with the benchmark BSE sensex plunging more than 300 points as financial stocks witnessed heavy losses, amid heavy foreign fund outflow and weak domestic as well as global cues.
