RIL shares gain 2.5%; m-cap rises by Rs 19,974 crore after Q1 earnings

Shares of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) gained 2.5 per cent on Monday after the company posted 6.8 per cent rise in June quarter net profit. The scrip rose 2.52 per cent to close at Rs 1,280.50 on the BSE. During the day, it jumped 2.84 per cent to Rs 1,284.55.
