Jio becomes India's 2nd largest mobile operator

Reliance Jio, the newest entrant in the telecom sector, has piped Bharti Airtel to become the second-largest mobile operator with 32.29 crore subscribers and 27.80 per cent market share in May, according to regulator Trai's data. Bharti Airtel launched its services way back in 1995 while Reliance Jio stormed the sector in 2016 with disruptive voice, data offerings.
