Is Trump-America behind Harley's poor show?

For the 10th consecutive quarter, US bike maker Harley-Davidson's (HD) retail sales in its home territory maintained their declining trajectory — with an 8% fall in the US market. In fact, while its global sales also declined, by 8.4%, sales in Asia Pacific declined just 0.6% in the same period — a pointer that it's not so much in trouble from overseas as it is in trouble from within the US market, where, in the last two years, it has been forced to cut jobs.
