AI pays salary to official not in rolls, sends notice

Debt-ridden carrier Air India (AI) has issued a show-cause notice to one of its joint general managers who was wrongly paid a gross salary of Rs 2.8 crore in the past few years, during which he wasn’t working for AI. ​​The said joint general manager happens to the current Chief Flight Operations Inspector (CFOI) of the DGCA.
