Renault plans to exit diesel, to make e-cars

Renault, one of Europe's top-selling carmakers, said on Wednesday that it plans to stop making diesel cars in India from next year as the company shifts focus on local manufacturing of electrics. The company - which had tie-ups with Bajaj Auto and Mahindra & Mahindra - is open to a new partnership with a local player for electrics, global CEO Thierry Bollore said.
