Data 'new form of wealth', needs to take into account developing nations' needs: India

In a press conference at the G20 Summit, foreign secretary Vijay Gokhale said that India recognises the importance of the interface between trade and digital economy. India's and the view of other BRICS countries is that data should be discussed within the WTO context underlining that data is a new form of wealth. He said developing countries' requirements cannot be ignored.
