IndiGo flight lands in Chennai after engine issue

An IndiGo spokesperson said: “An IndiGo flight 6E 227 (Non-NEO) operating on Kolkata - Kochi route was diverted to Chennai (Friday) due to technical reasons. The aircraft is currently at Chennai airport where it is being inspected by our technical teams. We regret the inconvenience caused to the passengers. They have been accommodated in subsequent flights.”
