MNCs seek health policies that cover gay partners of staff

Following the decriminalisation of Section 377, many MNCs have approached insurance companies seeking a group health policy that will cover partners of those in same-sex relationships. For life insurance companies, this is not an issue as the policyholder has the freedom to choose the nominee.
