Trade war with US: China's GDP growth sinks to 6% in 3rd quarter, lowest in 27 years

As China grapples with a protracted trade war with the US and slowing domestic demand, the country's economy grew at the slowest rate in 27 years in the third quarter. GDP figures showed that the Chinese economy expanded 6.0% in July-Sept, compared with 6.2% in the second quarter. Though worst quarterly figures since 1992, it is still within 6.0-6.5% annual target.
